This museum's centrepiece is Bruno Fritscher's collection. In 1930, he acquired a defective sound box and this ignited his continued interest in the significant inventions of his time. Fritscher was interested in the progress of radio-phonographs and gramophones and the work of the genius inventor Thomas Alva Edison, who constructed both the first electric bulb and phonograph. Original apparatus and true copies of the originals demonstrate the technological development of this fascinating chapter of industrialization. Review © 2009, Wcities |
