This Byzantine-style church hosts daily services as well as music events and a weekly flea market. The church itself is stunning, with brick walls against the contrasting green copper roof. In the top of the zweigeschossigen building of loggias over the central portal is a statue of the church patron. The high altar is made of genuine marble, and the four marble columns carried a gilded canopy made of wood.
