Located to the west of the city centre, Westbahnhof caters mainly to trains departing and arriving from western Europe. The station is connected to Vienna's U-Bahn system (U3, U4) and Vienna International Airport via the express bus which departs every 30 minutes from the forecourt. Visitors arriving in Vienna without having arranged accommodation in advance can get themselves sorted out at the hotel reservation agency in the main hall.
