This pension in the Josefstadt may not have as much character as some of the other places in Vienna, but the art nouveau hotel does have a friendly approach, a very central location and smart rooms. Ask for one of the larger bedrooms to the rear of the hotel; they have great, spacious bathrooms and big wooden balconies overlooking a leafy courtyard. This is also the more peaceful side of the building. The management often go about booking tours around the city, theater tickets and concert places upon request for hotel guests.
