In the shadow of high-rise hotels in Crystal City is a cluster of ethnic eateries that includes this Greek favorite. Stop in for a glass of ouzo and a few appetizers or sit down and treat your taste buds to a whole meal. The hummus is good and very traditional, but to sample something a little different, try the eggplant with balsamic and mint or a Macedonian red pepper and feta dish. Main courses consist of classic moussaka, roasted lamb and seafood dishes. Home baked breads and fresh salads round out the menu. Desserts include baklava and a light walnut yogurt with honey.
