With an unpretentious setting and reasonable prices, this Capitol Hill restaurant also has an excellent French kitchen. The fish is especially good and seafood entrees such as lobster fricassee are a house specialty. Stews, lamb pastries and chateaubriand are among the other favorites that help maintain a loyal following. Regular patrons say they enjoy La Colline's well-stocked bar, private rooms and high-backed leather booths, which allow for private conversation. Garage parking is free after 5p.
