With casual elegance and outstanding food, Crystal Thai has been voted one of the best bargain restaurants in Washington for the past six years. White tablecloths, votive candles, fresh flowers and charming wait staff, in native garb, create a lovely showcase for a sumptuous meal. Curries-red, green and yellow-are creamy and flavorful and come with chicken or shrimp. An overwhelming favorite is a crispy catfish that is served in a spicy sauce that is indescribably delicious.
