Grog & Tankard is in Glover Park, just north of Georgetown. The bar caters to a college crowd and local bands are often featured here. This little nightspot is not much bigger than a walk-in closet. From a block away, you can be swept up in the pulsing beat of a band performing live and loud. Inside is a bar and a few tables, but most patrons are happy to settle for standing room.
