As the first Thai restaurant to open in Chinatown in 2004, Kanlaya has become a fast favorite among tourists, downtown inhabitants, and those who work in the area. The friendly, warm, and casual restaurant right next to the Verizon Center is often packed during lunch hours. The menu includes a large selection of traditional Thai soups, appetizers, and entrees for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
