When Adams-Morgan went from being an ethnic enclave to a place popular enough to draw suburbanites, Hill workers and even the occasional movie star, neighborhood old-timers retreated to Millie and Al's. The pub is often crowded. Patrons cram the tables and booths, especially on weekends. Regulars often stop by to see old friends and fill up on inexpensive pizza and drinks. On Monday nights, the bar offers one of the best deals in town.
