This restaurant and bar has been a Georgetown landmark for 30 years. It serves a mixed crowd of tourists, college students and locals. Nathan's has a solid, conservative appearance. The front bar area offers a quiet, friendly place to have a meal, a drink, a little conversation or to read the paper. On weekend nights the pace is altered with a DJ and dancing from 11:30p to 3a. There is no cover. Classic American cuisine is offered. The menu includes standards such as pork or veal chops, tenderloin, pasta entrees and risotto.
