This restaurant has been a landmark near Dupont Circle since 1965, well before the explosion of ethnic restaurants in Washington. The dining area is formally designed and decorated in elegant Indian style. It is a quiet, conservative place ideal for the business crowd. Tandoori cuisine is featured, with a full array of curries.
