Located on the DC side of the Maryland-District line, Takoma Station has long been hosting some of the finest local jazz acts in the area. This street-level establishment glows with blond wood and soft lighting. The large crowds that gather here can be seen from the street through a large plate-glass window. Although jazz is usually the featured entertainment, R&B and reggae acts also appear regularly. There is no cover charge but sneakers and athletic wear are strictly prohibited.
