The Heights is a welcome addition to the rapidly-developing Columbia Heights. A spacious wood-paneled restaurant with outdoor seating, it serves modern American food, particularly seafood and comfort food. While the service can tend to be hit or miss, the restaurant is worth it, especially for happy hour or brunch. If you are at the bar during happy hour, you'll find no shortage of $2 Stella Artois’ and tasty ginger calamari. (Their Huckleberry Caipirovska- vodka, Smirnoff blueberry and frozen lime- is a reason to go to this place all in itself.
