Like so many other Washington bars and restaurants, this one makes its home in an old townhouse. It caters to the local crowd in Dupont Circle. The two-story tavern has narrow passageways and uneven floors, but the high ceilings and long windows provide a pleasant, homey atmosphere. Despite the small space, the proprietors have squeezed in a pool table, pinball machine and television. The food is quite good here, with the usual fare of burgers and pasta accompanied by choices such as steak and lamb chops. Review © 2009, Wcities |
