Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, this is a pleasant respite from the often frantic pace of restaurants just up the street in Adams-Morgan. The menu ranges from sandwiches and pasta to wood-fired oven pizza and calzones. Choices include meatloaf, pork chops and a vegetarian sandwich. Weekend brunch is a treat worth traveling for. The buttermilk pancakes are a must. Inside, there are booths, tables and a bar/counter with two televisions. Outside, is a pleasant patio with table service. The wait staff is efficient and friendly.
