The sun streams in at this charming suburban hideaway near Mount Kaukau. Owner Patricia Kerr is well known for excellent service and quality food. Situated at the entrance to Khandallah Park, the cafe is small, vibrantly decorated and attracts local crowd. Brunch includes pancakes or Eggs Florentine. Snacks include homemade pizzas and freshly baked items. Serves hot and cold drinks, including special children's Fluffies.

If you want to eat in, then head through the double doors to the back lounge for a fine feast in the traditional dining room with chandeliers and gold tinged walls. If it is quality food on the run you want hit the takeaway bar. Either way the extensive menu will not disappoint. For a cheap eat try the lunch specials and tea or coffee. You can bring your own wine.

Drive 10 minutes from the city centre and you can be parked in the spacious parking lot and quickly seated for lunch or dinner. All meals are hearty, delicious and affordable. Try the flour free individual Chocolate Cake or warm Roasted Beets Salad With Cheese Filled Dates. The atmosphere is really vibrant with lively music, super friendly staff and a large range of beer on tap. A great place for business or social meetings. Corban's red wines are a speciality.
