This is a very special museum, situated opposite Clifford's Tower in the centre of York. Three hundred years of British fighting history are here on display. If you enjoy pageantry then this is the place to visit. The splendour of the uniforms, brilliantly displayed in all their colourful glory, the weapons used; the medals won; the battles fought, all of which made Great Britain the Empire that it was, are brought to life for the visitor.
